Fit the Implementation Approach to the Site
Elementary schools may find cross-content-area theme integration most comfortable because one teacher most likely teaches all of the core subjects. Middle and high schools might want to start with subject-area teams, then eventually move to grade-level or cross-disciplinary teams to refine the theme-focused curriculum. Whatever the approach, as the integration work develops, every teacher should be expected to take part in some way.
